The Merchandising Department within this company is responsible for the development and execution of the Merchandising strategies and operations to realise a customer attractive and market competitive set of products fit for serving all our sales channels and to support profitable sales growth.

Within the Merchandising Department, the Merchandising Operations Team supports the merchandising organization to come up with the most efficient tooling for the merchandising related activities and the processes for Product & vendor related data management and Publishing (Paper and E-Publishing). The Merchandising Operations team works closely together with the PMO manager, Category Process & Training manager and the entire Merchandising organization to ensure these tools are based on the most efficient processes.

Management, rebates management and publishing to paper catalogues and web.

The Specialist Data Maintenance, Images will guard and maintain the quality of the European image repository, will constantly improve the European image repository and plays a vital role in adding the right image content to the commercial product content to enable the publishing of these products in a multi channel environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Be the central point of contact for questions regarding images for the European Merchandising Operations Team;
• Manage the request for new images towards manufacturers and suppliers and track and trace these image requests;
• Be pro-active in processing all delivered images on a daily basis;
• Ensure optimal availability of images as well for existing as new products;
• Create quantitative and qualitative reports about images and act upon;
• Make suggestions about improving the workflows and processes around the image repository ;
• You will take the European image repository to a next level where "additional" asset types (Audio, Video, Document, etc) will be maintained;

Gewenst profiel

Who are we looking for?

We'd like to meet you if you have a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and/ or Technical area. You have experience with database management and preferably with catalogue production. You are proficient with MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator or similar software and you have affinity with typical graphic image formats used for publications in print and web. You have strong interpersonal and intercultural skills which enables you to effectively interact with associates at all levels of the company and with all local operations. You are a strong organiser, accurate, able to prioritise effectively. You are able to instruct business and guide units and suppliers to deliver images according to the rules and guidelines. You have excellent oral and written communications skills, in English. Another European language is advantage.
