Functie inhoud

As Print Production Specialist you will:

• Deploy  and research new print and packaging technologies and provide suitable solutions for print and mailing productions in order to improve efficiency across all channels.
  
  
• ·Manage projects, provide accurate reports, collect data, analyze cost efficiency and provide administrative support during the project implementation.
  
  
• Develop and implement new ideas to improve efficiency and coordinate data collection across the different European Business Units.
  
  
• Analyze marketing production costs, consolidate Vendor’s offers and final project proposals to be shared with local Business Units.
  
  
•  Coordinate production of all marketing materials, manage project planning, estimated costs, updates, approval of invoices and final project reconciliation.
  
  
• Oversee all negotiations with vendors and work within Publishing Teams to execute promotions for publishing and print marketing materials.
  
  
• Partner with Business Units to provide support with project details, marketing strategy and print requirements.
  
  
• Draft project planning and provide detailed cost estimates.
  
  
• Attend strategic marketing meetings to understand key marketing test plans and desired results.

Gewenst profiel

• A Bachelor or Master’s degree
  
  
• Several years of experience as Publishing and/or Print Production Specialist or equivalent.
  
  
• Good skills in negotiation and communication and the ability to put this into practice, both externally with vendors as internally with Business Units and management.
  
  
•  Capable of analysing complex information within an international environment and the ability to discern the critical details from the total information flow.
  
  
• Proven success in working within a multinational matrix organization and international projects.
  
  
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Access, MS Project and database solutions such as Business objects.
  
  
• Knowledge of print and publishing tools and processes such as Adobe InDesign as well as print technologies such as offset, gravure, sheet fed offset and digital print on demand.
  
  
• Experience with managing mailing - and sorting processes, dealing with vendors, print planning and purchasing practices in a corporate environment.
