More than 50.000 events troughout Europe use their ticketshop to sell tickets and to promote their events trough their website, or smartphone. The organisation was founded in 2006 en has offices in Amsterdam, Antwerp, London, Berlin and Barcelona. They are present in the branches Concerts, festivals, and sport events. Events that already work with their ticketshop are Awakenings, Armin van Buuren and Voltt .

Job description

For this innovative international company we are seeking a front-end architect who combines a passion for technology with the skills and intelligence to make our solutions the best out there. This role will be charged with guiding our front-end architecture as we grow and build new products. You will be a decision maker on what frameworks we use and how we build our web applications.

Responsibilities

• Determining the strategic and tactical direction of our front-end architecture.
  
• Mentor junior engineers, which may include performing code reviews.
  
• Collaborate with your team in brainstorming, designing and implementing new solutions.
  
• Suggest tools, technologies, and best practices to improve our stability, performance and site quality

Profile

Education and skills

• 5+ years of experience in architecting front-end tiers for high volume websites;
  
• In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and associated frameworks.
  
• Experience with REST, JSON, XML;
• Supportive and able to motivate your peers and yourself to achieve short and long-term goals.
  
• You abide by the “best tool for the job” approach to selecting technologies and languages.
  
• You have shipped large projects working as part of a cohesive team.
  
• You are energized by working in a collaborative environment
  
• Experience with debugging and performance analysis / optimization is an advantage;
  
• Experience with Agile development is an advantage;
  
• Experience with Node.js is an advantage;
